Legend of the Seeker S02E02 HDTV XviD-2HD

I’d really like someone to tell me if they are enjoying this show or not, and please don’t compare it to the books (if you know what I’m talking about), I know its not the book, but I want to know if its telling a decent storyline in consideration of the book at least..

Aired: November 14th 2009
Richard, Kahlan, Zedd, and Cara arrive at a D’Haran death camp, where the dead are given the chance to become bayleens; the dead who come back to life in exchange for killing for the Keeper. As well, young hoodlum accidentally becomes the key to the Stone of Tears. He is killed but before he is brought back to life by Cara, Darken Rahl sees the marking on his palm and orders an army of the dead after the key. Richard burns the army and they continue their quest for the Stone of Tears.

Seeker is what it is, a homeage to the SoT books without being the books verbatim. Initially I was condemning of the show and at what I perceived as a complete sell-out by Terry Goodkind, but the show grows on you. Only weakness is Craig, but he is getting there slowly and becoming a more believable Richard Rahl. Kahlan and Zedd are played with excellence by Bridget and Bruce. All in all it has a lot of potential and I hope we get more seasons to give the actors time to dominate the roles and to open up the wealth of material available from the books..

Nice thanks for the information JR Ward… I stopped watching the show in the 3rd or 4th episode, but I did hear it got better…

I have to agree that it did get slow sometime in the first season. But it got better, and I think the end of the season and the beginning of this season is excellent. Merlin and legend of the seeker are great fantasy fixers to me. The girl on girl kiss this past episode was hot too .

I never read the book but I can say that I’ve been enjoying the show since the Pilot. I’m sucker for these type of fantasy-medieval stories.

Now that klydal mention Merlin, you guys should post the Merlin episodes, I hate that I have to search for the episodes somewhere else when before the episodes were posted here.

Well you guys ask and I shall post……. The show did kind of remind me of the old Hercules and Xena warrior princes… also for the fact that a lot of the characters are from that show ha ha…

Yes, this series is actually pretty good. For a series I think that the visuals are decent, but the story is actually pretty good. You should give it a try.

totally NOT enjoying it mate. Not that I’d expected the books, but this is so incredibly childish, predictable and horribly acted, by all rights it shouldnt even be on TV’.

I bet Goodkind is sooo embarassed he went fort he fat check without seeing what a PoS they made this into =p
