SceneSource Online PreDB

You know guys we sadly we don’t have a fancy forum with the leetest banner ever, but we do have our next new feature, i mean its no nuke dictionary (thats to 1337 for us, lol), but it is the next best thing… an online PreDB!

Seriously we have been working on this thing for the past week or so and we think its finally ready to be viewed by the public. It has an orlyDB inspired look and will update you with the latest pre’s from the scene without having to idle on IRC. Although it is still in beta it is complete with nuke and unnuke info, time stamps, categories and a limited search (atm).

The clever code monkeys behind this lil project are miteyMite, Lee and dlx. They deserve a massive pat on the pack for all there hard work. So congrats to them.

So enjoy it guys, post bug reports in the comments if you find one (im sure you will ;) ) and dont abuse it and ruin everyones good time by constantly refreshing!

    How ’bout we give the coders a pat on the back? I don’t think they’d appreciate getting patted, especially massively patted on their pack LOL… or maybe they might lol.

    Tell your coders: You can easily handle constant refreshing by caching the data for a period of time (ie. 1 minute, 5 minutes, 10 minutes. etc.).

    dont want to diss this at all cause i think it looks quite good.. but… if your using PreDB then whats the point in ScnSrc, im sure if all releases on PreDB were on ScnSrc minus the porn it would attract more visitors

    awesome work guys, total n00b here, but just wondering, do pre lists have fake listings? or are all legit?
    and from when it appears on PreDB how long would you guesstimate that it will take to hit the Torrents?

    nice work with the predb but you can just add a sessions to page and prevent reloading for like 1 minute

    @FukRLSLOG: When using public pre sources, fake release can commonly occur.

    In reality, the warez ‘scene’ trees off into many different FTP servers and it is with these ‘later’ servers we collect our information.

    in recent weeks there were many fake releases but the source of these fake releases has apparently been resolved.

    Currently we are using various private and public pre chan sources as a basis for our web based predb.

    Stay tuned for improvements.

    looking at this list is sort of depressing -_-

    There are so many stuff released that doesn’t end up on usenet, or torrents or whatever ahhh….

    i need über leet scene access or whatever it is that will allow me to download all this stuff!!

    Great work guys, and now that the x264 section is up aswell, I’m very pleased =)
    A good sign this is a good thing, is all the posts made by the rlslog fanboys, whining and throwing useless crap around, just showes rlslog is missing yet another thing.
    Just hope the traffic won’t be to much with this in place.

    Hi. I’ve been trying to access the predb but keep getting this error: “Cannot select the database, closing.” Is the predb down at the moment?
