Every nerd, geek and computer nut knows WARGAMES. Ahh memorys… and now here comes the so called sequel that will come along and ruin everything by trying to milk the last drops of profit from the WARGAMES name. I’ve not heard of involved in this flick from the actors to the director, all new to me and worst still its gone down the old terrorist plot path. Nothing like flogging a dead horse, eh? More specfically its about some new dumb “super computer” thinks that terroists are attacking the US and presumebly tries to nuke stuff. Still i have heard its not absolutely dreadfull, just dont expect the same geek-tastic film as the first one.

Synopsis: Arriving twenty-five years after WARGAMES, the Matthew Broderick-starring backdoor thriller, this sequel finds yet another brilliant young computer hacker who may end up starting World War III via a government simulation war game. This time, Will Farmer inadvertently engages Ripley, an overly sensitive supercomputer that was designed to detect and handle terrorist attacks.
