If you’re interested in the events surrounding the Columbine shootings this may be a movie to watch. The quality on this release isn’t bad, but its not quite up to standard with the blockbusters. Audio is decent and video is good but not great.
Synopsis: Columbine survivor and filmmaker Andrew Robinson takes on the tough task of re-creating the painful aftermath of the school shooting in this independent drama. Based on the events following the April 20, 1999, tragedy, APRIL SHOWERS centers on Sean Ryan (Kelly Blatz, PROM NIGHT), a student who survived the events but struggles with the death of a friend (Ellen Woglom, VIVA LAUGHLIN). The film also stars Illeana Douglas and Tom Arnold.
