I check all the release sites. more releases the better. RLS, posts some things not posted here, and vise versa..

In this case… Quanity is key.

Scnsrc is really slow right now. you should consider upgrading your server guys or maybe change DC. netdirekt is awesome DC but they have too much downtime.

*Phew* I googled first about “scnsrc down”, and found old old cache of rlslog trouble with the law or something (not recently at all), so I thought the site might have gotten shut down or something. Then I went on IRCC and someone told me it was the provider’s problem, which is the ordinary type of outage for me – big relief.

these scnsrc cats should really step up their game. I don’t know if these other sites are doing a better job?

  17. 17. mega jew Mar 13th, 2010 at 7:47 pm

    This site is ossum. 😀

  18. 18. gtg Mar 13th, 2010 at 7:57 pm

Yeah.. all of a sudden this site, rls-log, and all three file* sites went down. I’d get it if it was all the same host, but this is the only site back up so far. Weird.

  19. 19. GrX Mar 13th, 2010 at 8:12 pm

you say why use other sites this is the best pfft please this is the worst.

authors do not use file hosting so you have to risk swimming though 100s of comments to hopefully get a real link,

then when you think about it they give the rls name here so you have to go searching else where to find the release then you find other rls blogs which contain the links to the content you found here.

pretty soon you’ll start wondering whats the point coming here at all when you have to then go search other sites for the content the authors are too lazy to post on file hosters themselves.

every other scene release site their authors actually take the time to provide links.
all this place does is announce new releases then link to some stupid lazypirate torrent so we can all get busted. torrents are way to risky now please for the love of god use the popularity you have here and start posting your own links instead of making us look else where.

rls is always down…it sucked you guys were down but shit happens..glad your back up!!

  21. 21. jebus Mar 13th, 2010 at 10:53 pm

info, from a few people that I have been talking to… this is just not a random “down time”.

There are behind the scene legal issues, with the hosts.

All sites are going down at the EXACT same time.. think about it.

  22. 22. gtg Mar 14th, 2010 at 12:10 am

If you really thought this was the worst, you wouldn’t be here, dicknose.

Also, who the fuck actually follows the links of the blog runners? The 100s of comments give you 100s of options on where to get shit from, and… I gotta say scnsrc is waaaay fucking better about fake links than many other sites. Not sure if they’re active about it, or just not big enough to be targetted like the others, but fuck off with your 100s bullshit.

The whole point of coming here is the comments, so there’s no point in searching you fucking idiot.

Seriously, other ‘scene sites’ (the scene fucking hates sites like this) only link to shit to earn $$$. SceneSource is more honest about their advertising, if anything. Still, every link you click on in any rls blog is all about cash.

  23. 23. atticus Mar 14th, 2010 at 12:28 am

You really are a fucking retard aren’t you? How can you say all these stuff without even thinking about it? No we don’t post links in the post itself, so editors can’t be held accountable if any charges are pressed. Furthermore, if you’d actually read the comments, you’d see that the editors ARE posting links there (recognised by the ScnSrc Logo in front of their name), to all the regular hosting sites out there (RS, MU, MF, HF, DF).

Furthermore, if you were smart, you’d have a Premium Usenet account, where you can find nearly every release that’s posted here, and download it at full speed instead of being dependent of the Limited speed that File Hosts like the ones mentioned before have to offer. A really good site for NZB’s (Usenet) is NZBindex, but I’m already using that one in my posts anyway…

Taking all of this into account, you’re obviously only here to troll, because this release site is doing it’s utter best to post all the latest releases (be it TV shows, Music and Movies) without any commercial profit what so ever.

The site was also down due to DMCA charges, so that explains why all of the Release Blogs were/are down. We won, obviously, so here we are again 😉

  24. 24. gtg Mar 14th, 2010 at 1:30 am

Ahhhh so it was legal bullshit that brought these sites down. Well, just glad they’re starting to pop back up and ACTA is getting shot down…. for now.
Side note – were these sites getting hit outside of US? If it’s just DMCA shit and the sites are hosted in NL, then I’d assume not?

  25. 25. atticus Mar 14th, 2010 at 2:55 am

Yep, well this site is hosted in Germany, but still DMCA is forcing ISP’s to block the websites…

  26. 26. GrX Mar 14th, 2010 at 8:50 am

thanks for the swearing insults much appreciated.

@atticus you make a point about authors not posting links themselves do to being shut down
this is a moot point this site is an information only site and its been brought down numourus times in the past by the likes of brien and others.

it makes no difference what so ever if its just links to torrents or links to nzb or file hosting
they dont care one bit they still want to shut down the site regardless its that simple.

its like robbing a bank take 10 dollars or 1 million dollars it makes no difference the crime is
you robbed the bank you’d get the same pubishement regardless.

so if the site is constantly getting shutdown and its only hosting links to torrents or what not
then what difference does it make adding links from filehosting

the end result is they are trying to shut down the sites regardless so why not make the most of it.

every other blog / rls site incl rlslog their authors use hotfile or on every single
article they post and low and behold they are still up and going strong.

zerosec has now been took over [granted it was a cunts move] but they have it right now.
the new owners are posting links to rs/hf/mu etc etc.

all these blogs / scene sites are still up and running and posting links to filehosts.
so your point about “its for security is bollocks” its just lazy authors who cannot be bothered.

  27. 27. bDk Trusted Poster Mar 14th, 2010 at 9:11 am

Each line coming from you is even more stupid than previous..

Or wait, since you are so lazy and demanding let me COPY/PASTE something for you:

“ (SceneSource) is a WordPress powered website dedicated to bringing you the latest info on new scene releases.(…) We provide information such as NFO’s, samples, file names and much more.”

Stop being ungrateful tit, and if you had any interrest in the site, apart from trolling, you would know about “trusted commentors”.

Your bank robbery metaphore is wrong. We do not steal anyting from the bank you see, we inform about the “robbery” (if you like this comparison so much), and posting actuall links to files which WE would have ceated and put in our posts, that woule be “robbing the bank”.

  28. 28. eXam Mar 14th, 2010 at 11:43 am

Also, go take a look at where those links that zerosux is getting… ITS FROM OUR COMMENTS!!!!!

Is it hard to wait an additional 10 minutes for individuals to post comments with links that you want, and as stated before, individuals with a lill diamond beside their name are ‘trusted commentators’…… take a bit of time and don’t be so ignorant

  29. 29. GrX Mar 14th, 2010 at 12:16 pm

talk about getting out of hand my god.

my comment was why this blog doesn’t follow suit allowing their authors of posts to post
rs/cyberlocker links and why they want us to rely on users posting links?

i was waiting for the comments about authors don’t post links due to risk of being shutdown which is where i would reply with it makes no difference if the links are 2 inch down the page or with the actual posts when it comes to legality they dont care they wouldn’t care less if the site did not host links or torrents they still want it shut down.

if the blog allows users to post links directly and the owners are happy with this
then why not let their authors post links it just makes no sense.

Well sir, site owners are not responsible for user comments.

    Enough reason?

  31. 31. atticus Mar 14th, 2010 at 2:40 pm

I’d say remove all of his useless blather. Troll is Trolling.

  32. 32. Flashy Mar 14th, 2010 at 11:30 pm

Get the fuck off our site if you don’t like it. We aren’t forcing you to come back here and rant about your bullshit problems with us. Be it legal reasons or personal. We don’t / will not post links in the main post. Comments on the other hand, we will / do. See that magical little Diamond? The one that’s not beside your name? it means that the links your about to click on, the same ones being posted onto ZS and RLSLOG, are TRUSTED LINKS. Those people have been checked out and their links are legit. If you don’t like how we do shit, go back to ZS and get a fuck load of adverts shoved down your cumfilled throat you little fucking faggot.

    To sum it all up.
