Description: Fortune Street, developed by Square Enix, brings together the characters of both the Mario and Dragon Quest universes into one gaming experience. Buy more than one piece of property in the same district and the value of your assets rises. If someone lands on one of your lots they have to pay you rent that turn. Your property becomes your primary source of income and power as the game progresses, so it’s extremely important to invest wisely. The ultimate goal is to make as much bank as possible and force your opponents into bankruptcy.

Features:
- Players move around one of more than 15 boards, buying shops to build their portfolios and collecting symbols they can cash in at the bank to earn more gold to invest. It takes money to make money, so racing around the board may not be the best strategy.

- To capitalize on their monetary gains, players can make investments, play the stock market, purchase shops and collect shopping fees. Players with multiple shops adjacent to one another see them grow in value and their shops level up. Other players who land on those squares have to pay an increased shopping fee.

- Players can choose to play as a variety of Mushroom Kingdom characters, as Dragon Quest characters or even as their own Mii characters.

- More than 15 different game boards are available, providing endless replay value.

- The beginner setting helps newcomers learn the basics, while a more advanced mode introduces more challenges, deeper strategy options and the ability to play the stock market.

- The franchise has been a hit in Japan, and this marks its first appearance in North America.

We don’t know anything about evolution, but we do know we’ve watched Donkey Kong evolve from a two-dimensional, 8-bit jumble of squares to a three-dimensional powerhouse. Whether you remember him from the old days or you’re just discovering him, you can’t help but love the big galoot. Donkey Kong Country Returns gives you the best of both jungles because it combines the side-scrolling fun of the original NES version with three-dimensional graphics and Wii motion control. An evil group of mind-controlling Tikis have forced the animals on Donkey Kong Island to steal Donkey Kong’s Banana Hoard, and you’ll need to help him get his bananas back.

Players take control of Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong, with many traditional elements of the Donkey Kong Country series returning, including mine cart levels, swinging from vine to vine, collecting bananas, and the golden “KONG” letters. There will also be levels with the characters and foreground environments appearing as silhouettes, spawning several new gameplay mechanics.

In single player, players can only play as Donkey Kong whilst multiplayer mode enables a second player to simultaneously control Diddy Kong.[8] If one player dies in two player mode, he can be brought back by hitting a DK Barrel that floats into view, similar to New Super Mario Bros. Wii. To avoid problems arising from differences in player skills, Diddy can hop on Donkey’s back to take on a more passive role, while his jetpack can be used to make some of his partner’s jumps easier. As in past games, Donkey can pound the ground to defeat enemies and unveil secret items, as can Diddy.

The game will have two control schemes, with the standard system using the Wii Remote in conjunction with the Nunchuk, as well as a more classical approach employing the Wii Remote held sideways, both of which use motion controls for the ground pound move. In addition to common series elements like secrets and unlockables, there will also be a time attack mode. At least two animal buddies, Rambi and Squawks, have been confirmed to appear in the game.

The game will also utilise the Super Guide feature that has appeared in New Super Mario Bros. Wii and Super Mario Galaxy 2. If the player loses 8 lives in a single level, they will be given the option to allow Super Kong to take over and complete the level for them. However, any collectibles obtained whilst Super Kong is playing will not be counted towards the total.

Plot

A long time ago the sorcerer Yen Sid created a pen-and-paper world for “things that have been forgotten” (Walt Disney’s forgotten and rejected creations). This world (based on the Disneyland theme parks) appears as an intricate model on a table in Yen Sid’s study, which is accessible through a mirror. Mickey, who finds himself inside Yen Sid’s study by entering a mirror in his house, sees the model and waits until Yen Sid has retired to his chambers before going back to take another look at it. F

iddling with it, Mickey tries to create a model of himself but instead creates the Phantom Blot. Panicking, Mickey quickly erases the Blot by throwing paint thinner onto it and soaking it up with a sponge, accidentally spilling paint onto the model in the process. Hearing Yen Sid approaching, Mickey quickly tries to clean up with the sponge, but with little time to do so, he hides the sponge (with the Blot still in it) in the spilled paint pot instead, again accidentally spilling the thinner onto the model in the process and flees back to his home.

However, it’s too late; the world Yen Sid created becomes a ravaged wasteland, the result of Yen Sid’s pail of thinner falling into the world when the Phantom Blot passes into it, leading to the Thinner Disaster. The Phantom Blot takes control of the ruined lands from its first resident—and Mickey’s half-brother —Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. Oswald and the other residents of the Wasteland fight against the Blot, but he eventually overwhelms them and twists their world into a dark and sinister version of itself, forcing Oswald into hiding.

OVERVIEW

The player assumes the role of a foot soldier and thus has access to various firearms, of which two at a time can be carried, as well as explosives such as grenades and other equipment to fight enemies. When players are close enough to an enemy, they can perform a melee attack which ensures a one-hit-kill.

A character can be positioned in one of the three stances: standing, crouching, or prone; each affecting the character’s rate of movement, accuracy, and stealth. The player can directly dive prone from a standing position. The player can momentarily run faster before getting tired. When the character has taken damage, the screen glows red. Health regenerates by avoiding damage. When the character is within the blast radius of a live grenade, a marker indicates the direction of the grenade, helping the player to either flee or throw it back.

The player assumes the role of various characters during the single-player campaign, changing perspectives throughout the story. The playable characters are special forces operatives conducting black operations behind enemy lines. In this way, the player’s characters will have their own traits such as voices and shadows.

Each mission features a series of objectives that are displayed on the head up display, which marks the direction and distance towards and from such objectives. The player is accompanied by friendly troops who cannot be issued orders.

Although primarily a first-person shooter, the player will get to pilot a Hind helicopter and guide friendly troops from an SR-71 Blackbird reconnaissance aircraft.

Akin to games in the Wario Land series, each level has three secret treasure chests for Kirby to find, some of which can unlock extra levels. Also, coloured beads are scattered throughout every level, which Kirby can collect to increase a score and earn medals at the end of the level, which in turn unlock side levels that provide a greater challenge. However, if he is hit by an enemy, some of the beads will be dropped, although it does not appear that there is any way for Kirby to die.

These beads can be spent in an in-game shop to purchase furniture, which can then be used to customise Kirby’s living space. Occasionally, other characters will show up in Kirby’s living space and set him challenges, such as time trials and collecting all the beads in a level. A second player can play as Prince Fluff. The two players can stand on or throw each other in order to reach otherwise inaccessible areas, and the second player is able to use additional mechanisms during the vehicle sections.

With the multiplayer mode, the newest installment of the most popular video game franchise is designed to bring yet another type of family entertainment into living rooms and engage groups of friends in fast-paced Super Mario Bros. fun.

The game uses elements of New Super Mario Bros. and also includes, for the first time in a Super Mario Bros. series game, simultaneous multiplayer capability of up to four players. In addition to the main story mode, which can be played in either single-player mode or in multiplayer mode, there are two dedicated multiplayer modes. “Free Mode” ranks players at the end of each stage by score, coins, and enemy kills, while the other mode, “Coin Battle”, ranks players on the amount of coins collected.
