An awesome virtualization application that you hardly ever see a scene release of (I’m pretty sure the last one was released almost a year ago.)

whats lazy? the whole point of this site was a spin off from rlslog because the staff here got anoyed there… but i dont get the lazy part.

i’ve scoured all the usual forums/torrent sites private and public to see if it’s there.
it’s not even been mentioned it’s not in any of their topsite pre channels so explain lazy?

make it sound like this sole release is widely available well Zen it’s not other than here at the moment there is no where that mentions anything to do with this release.

No wonder staff here are applying for “help wanted” if this is how the authors are running things.
they know the rls name they even know the .zip name why dont they just upload the small file to some hosting is beond me not like it’s a 50-100mb file it’s tiny take them 2 mins max.

I agree … nothing wrong with just reporting scene releases on scnsrc. If I want the files, I can find them myself on usenet/torrent/etc, but that’s only after knowing *what* to look for — after reading the release info here.

Lookin on newsgroups before i posted Mosi used grabit paid search feature found nothing what so ever for any search terms to do with VMWare, ThinAPP

Appreciated though maybe their main server isn’t updated yet again

if i was an author of such a great site like this i’d actually be wanting to help people.
would actually provide everything you did but instead of posting to the same torrent site over and over i would post to a filehosting site specially for smaller files.

before you become an author here you was exactly the same as a normal user.
you was watching posts and no doubt waiting for the authors to provide access to the content too.

now you are an author with the power to do just that and you are falling short?
if i was you i would complete the whole shabang 100% hell it’s what we wait for.

now it seems it’s upto users to to finish off editors work? its totally backwards.

how can i be classed as lazy?

i inquired about where the release is, got a load of abuse, still stuck around got some info of where to actually find the content, then took the time to upload it myself, then come back here and post it for the people the 99.9% of people who comes here to actually see whats new out and also get links to the content in some form or other,

the 99.9% of people will no doubt be happy that i so called lazy, has done all this and provided them the content they really wanted??

why the swearing and the bad language? and please do explain after all i’ve done to help the people the readers how is this “lazy”?

This is the only Scene News site who’s authors do not provide hosting site links or
links to the actual content that exists.

I love the site and love helping the people and community out but The founders of this place would no doubt be on my side on this, the whole point of this site is for its users to make them happy else whats the point of having a site in the first place?

maybe they should hire real editors ones that actually help the community and the readers.

I’ll break the point of this site and the reason it exists. The scene pres thousands of releases a day, most of them are not worth the average Joe’s time, so we pick the most popular/revelant ones and provide further information about it. This information is represented in the form of a post with images and other information, such as nfos, file sizes, descriptions. This helps our readers know the best stuff the scene has released. Our readers may post links aswell, but I have never even used these myself.

Well that’s the reason I use sites like ScnSrc, Rlslog and ZS. Not for some shitty RS links I could of find on my own, but rather a neat representation of the best of the best when it comes to the scene. Sorry I went on a rant but I think most people are not seeing the intended purpose.

All in all we are a scene release NEWS site, not a scene release PORTAL.

Oh would you look at that, I see the post. I search on binsearch for it on usenet and OMG it’s there!!! Man now if only there were rapidshare links to save me that whole 10 seconds I took to find it!

scnsrc is fine the way it is. I only use it for release info. I don’t want rapidshare links posted by the authors becuase the site is more liekly to get shut down that way and I don’t want that.
