BIE just released OEM DVD of Windows 7. I’ve been on the RC build now so maybe this is the release where I can finally upgrade. I’m going to hold off for now as this is sure to bring attention and may be fake, faulty or whatevs. Anyhoo, enjoy free Windows!

I doubt this is genuine. The OEM/Retail editions is not being released to authorized IT distribution until the 12th of October to stock up their inventory and resellers are NOT allowed to sell it until the 22nd of October which is the official launch date.

The RTM final build I have is a 3.0GB .iso file so I wouldn’t be surprised if this release gets nuked.

where did you get that 3G .iso? mine is only 2.32 G and I have no problem with it so far?

2.32GB for x86 iso (untouched)
3.00GB for x64 iso (untouched)

windows 7 has been released on MSDN for a month or 2 now, so who know\’s this could be legit? gunna wait a few days to see if this gets nuked or not though

How this is activated? loader or bootmgr patched or what? anyone tried it yet.

This seems impressive.. a preactivated OEM copy, I was just wondering, can’t you make this type of preactivaed DVD by properly installing the leaked certificates and OEM keys into the bootable DVD folders? This has been done earlier in Vista and can be done in 7 also as far as I’m concerned..

Microsoft has been doing preactivated OEM for LENOVO , HP, DELL for years since Windows XP.

I prefer the above version I mention because Microsoft can blacklist them. Better to use untouched ISO’s
